JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS SIGN TWO UNIVERSITY OF NORTH ALABAMA LIONS

University of North Alabama issued the following news release:

The Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League have agreed to terms with 18 free agents, including two former University of North Alabama standouts. Jacksonville has signed UNA running back Mike McLendon of Mendenhall, Miss., and receiver Bobby Williams of Jacksonville, Fla. McLendon was an All-Gulf South Conference and All-Super Region 2 pick last season while rushing for 783 yards and scoring 17 touchdowns for the Lions. Williams, who transferred to UNA from Middle Tennessee State prior to the 2008 season, finished as the team's leading receiver with 50 catches for 715 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
