The Jacksonville Jaguars announced two roster moves Monday morning as they went through a special teams only workout.
Rookie fullback Anthony Cotrone was placed on the waived/injured list and they re-signed tight end Isaac Smolko.
Cotrone, an undrafted rookie from Maine, suffered a knee injury during the scrimmage Friday night.
Smolko, 25, began the 2007 season on the Jaguars practice squad before earning a roster spot on Nov. 3.
The 6'5", 260-pounder played in six games and saw extensive action on special teams. He started in one of the Jaguars two postseason games.
The former Penn State tight end spent 2006 training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers after signing as an undrafted free agent. He will wear jersey No. 47.
The Jaguars will be back on the practice fields tonight at 7 in shells (shoulder pads and shorts).
