This year, Jaguars' defensive end Paul Spicer will host Channel 4's Monday-evening football special -- End Zone.
Spicer has been an enjoyable guest on the End Zone several times, and will host the show along with Channel 4 sports director Sam Kouvaris and a cast of recurring and special guests.
The 32-year-old Spicer, who entered the league as an undrafted rookie out of Saginaw Valley State in 1998, was the defensive team captain last season and led the Jags with a career-high 7.5 sacks in 2007.
The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder ranks fourth in team history with 25 sacks and also has 299 tackles, six forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 99 games in Jacksonville with 53 starts.
The Jaguars signed Spicer to a contract extension in late June.
The End Zone is scheduled to begin on Sept. 1, on the Monday before the first Jaguars game of the 2008 season.
